I am Jools
I live in The Cotswolds, UK in an old and slightly damp cottage with my husband, children, cats, fish and stick insects. The garden has daily visits and digs from muntjac deer who snuffle out the moles and sit in the rhubarb.

I am fascinated by what drives people, from where their ideas stem and what they are able to make of their own story.
I love the chance to empathise, analyse and understand more of life through the tales of another.
I gain a sense of connection and worth from being allowed to hear, wonder and contemplate someone else’s world.
And then I want them to Tell Me More.

What’s with the cat logo?
Who is the inspiration for my logo? Oolong!
She is a black cat with three legs. Her workstyle is similar to mine with brief moments of intense activity and focus, followed by resting and digesting for as long as she can get away with. I, however, do not fill the house with live rabbits and shrews.
